The Diamniadio Iconic Train Station is part of the TER project, the very first railway project in the history of independent Senegal. As an integral part of the Plan Senegal Emergent (PSE), it serves as one of the main stops on the new TER line between Dakar and AIBD.
Spanning approximately 10,000m², the station comprises a main north building with a capacity of 9,150 passengers/day. The design is built on an architecture whose aerodynamic form symbolizes the vitality and growth of the TER.
