Inauguration of La Petite Maison Rose

On July 15th, 2025, the Pouponnière "La Petite Maison Rose" was officially inaugurated in Médina Gounass, Pikine, Dakar. Designed by ID+EA, this project embodies a humanistic architectural approach where every element — from the choice of materials to the layout of spaces — is designed to offer a secure, soothing, and functional living environment. This achievement demonstrates the fundamental role that architecture can play in supporting social causes by creating spaces that meet the deep needs of individuals. By combining functionality with aesthetics and integrating symbolic materials such as colored concrete and terracotta bricks, the nursery becomes more than just a building — it is a place of refuge, comfort, and renewal for the children and mothers who cross its doors.
